CyberSafeHome is open to hearing from organisations whose products or services may genuinely help individuals and families stay safer online or at home.
A fee, commission, free product, trial account or other commercial benefit will not guarantee coverage, prominence, a link or a positive conclusion.
What we consider
A proposed product or service should be relevant to CyberSafeHome readers and available to UK consumers on clear, reasonable terms. Depending on the category, our assessment may consider:
- security and privacy design;
- evidence for marketing and protection claims;
- pricing, renewal, cancellation and refund terms;
- UK support, accessibility and ease of use;
- security-update and product-support lifecycle; and
- whether a free, built-in or non-commercial alternative would serve readers as well or better.
Editorial independence and disclosure
CyberSafeHome decides whether, when and how a product is covered. We may decline an enquiry, request further evidence, publish limitations, compare alternatives, or amend or remove coverage if the product, support or evidence changes.
Any affiliate link, supplied product, sponsorship or other material relationship will be disclosed clearly where readers encounter the relevant content.
What to include in an enquiry
- the organisation and product or service name;
- the problem it is intended to solve;
- UK pricing and consumer terms;
- security, privacy, support and update information;
- details of any proposed commercial relationship; and
- a suitable contact for technical or policy questions.
Email info@cybersafehome.co.uk with the subject “Commercial enquiry”.
Please do not send passwords, customer data, confidential vulnerability details or unsolicited physical products.
